Making an Exhibition of Ourselves 1982.

Crabtree prepare to exhibit at Electrex 82 staged at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham.

The film shot in "Super8" by George Denton, shows the Crabtree Publicity Department designing the 200m2 stand, making a model, awarding the contract to a stand fitting company and overseeing the build.

The stand attraction was a 'Doctor Who' talking head recorded by the then doctor, Peter Davidson at a London studio. Needless to say this was the-digital age and the use of drawing board, pen, ink, cardboard, Letraset etc makes this film a time capsule!
